Tom test finalA Kelowna native, Tom moved to Vancouver at 19 to complete his apprenticeship auto mechanics program then focused on propane vehicle conversions. In 1998 his love for the Okanagan drew him back to raise his family and continue in the automotive industry. His specialty is drivability and electrical systems proven by having won the AC Delco Technician of the Millennium for Western Canada after competing against some of the best technicians in North America. Tom brings 25 years (starting in 1990) of automotive experience to the Mountain Transmission team. Besides cars, Tom is an accomplished pilot having obtained his license in 2002. Time with family is spent outdoors quadding, camping, boating and snowmobiling in the beautiful Okanagan valley.

Scott test finalScott has always had a passion for cars – most specifically high performance vehicles. A hard working prairie native from Saskatchewan, Scott has specialized in transmission rebuilds and repairs for the last 21 years.  Scott started as a junior mechanic with national transmission franchise company in Kelowna in 1993.  He attended specialized training seminars and schools focusing on transmissions and Automatic Transmission Service Group (ATSG).  As his skills grew so did his interest in business in general. In 2015, with the entrepreneurial spirit calling, Scott and Tom chose to create a new partnership and become the independent owner/operations of Mountain Transmission. When not working, Scott can be found camping, fishing, quadding and spending time outdoors with his family.
