Our History
A Kelowna native, our owner Tom Bischoff moved to Vancouver at 19 to complete his apprenticeship in automotive mechanics. In 1998, his love for the Okanagan drew him back to raise his family here and continue in the automotive industry. Tom brings over 30 years of automotive experience to the Mountain Transmission team. He enjoys spending time with his family quadding, camping and boating outdoors in the beautiful Okanagan valley.
Our Business
Issues with your vehicle are never ideal, but we’re here to help and listen to your concerns. We’re excited to offer our clients a vast variety of automotive maintenance services and repairs. We value integrity and our honest approach to customer service, and treat our clients the way we’d want to be treated.
Our licensed journeyman mechanics have a combined 45+ years of experience in transmission and mechanical services. We’re proud of our 5000 square foot shop with four vehicle lifts/hoists and state of the art computer diagnostic equipment.
We also have a soft spot for our furry friends, and are proud to support the Okanagan Humane Society.
